Signori (2760)
Signori is open to all 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade tenor-bass voices. Membership in this choir introduces students to basic concepts of tone production and music literacy as well as choral literature from Medieval to Modern styles for men's voices.
Anima (2750)
Anima is open to all 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade treble voices. Membership in this choir introduces students to basic concepts of tone production and music literacy as well as choral literature from Medieval to Modern styles for treble voices.
Cansone (2740Y)
Cansone is available to all 10th-12th grade men and women by audition only. Membership in this ensemble will include study in music theory, sight-singing and ear-training. This ensemble performs a variety of musical styles and explores repertoire available for SATB voices. Members in this ensemble will perform in the school and in the community.
Canta Bella (2711)
Canta Bella is available to all 10th-12th grade treble voices by audition only. Membership in this ensemble will include study in music theory, sight-singing and ear-training. This ensemble performs a variety of musical styles and explores the unique repertoire available for treble voices. Members in this ensemble will perform in the school, the community and at state functions.
A Cappella (2713)
A Cappella is a select group of advanced vocal students, grades 10-12, who will study and perform a wide variety of choral literature including styles from Renaissance through the 20th Century. Membership in this ensemble provides the highest level of instruction available to FCHS students with an emphasis in theory, sight-singing and ear-training. Members in this ensemble will perform in the school, the community and at state functions.
Viribus (2730)
Viribus is a select group tenor-bass voices who will study and perform a variety of literature. Public performances outside of class are part of this course and attendance is required. Students must be concurrently enrolled in a concert ensemble to participate in Viribus.
Music Theater
Tower Theater and the FCHS Music Department collaborate on two musicals every academic year. All students are welcome to audition. Announcements regarding auditions and casting will be available at: www.fchsperformingarts.com
